In fact, every few years, I have so much scrap wood that I end up burning some of the worst or smallest pieces, just to make room in my garage.

A few years ago, I covered our kitchen table in 1/4" x 1 1/2" poplar boards. It's one of my favorite projects. If you have a lot of scrap lattice or lattice-sized lumber around, turn it into a geometric table top or wall art.
